While Hall H is the place to be inside of San Diego Comic-Con, the Fandom party is the hottest ticket outside of it. After a 3 year hiatus due to COVID, SDCC is back and so is the biggest and best party that kicks off the weekend. Hosted by Paramount+, Fandom threw their elite party last night on the rooftop of Hard Rock Hotel right in the center of Gaslamp Quarter, overlooking the convention center. People eagerly anticipate the release of a small portion of tickets set aside for fans, while the rest of the guest list is invite only. And not just anyone is on the list. We’re talking A-list celebs, industry peeps, influencers, and more.

This year, Don Diablo was the musical guest and he definitely kept the party alive the entire night. Specialty cocktails were flowing at the open bar (perhaps the best part of the party) and small bites were available as well. Z2 Comics did not disappoint with their awesome set up and freebies, because who doesn’t love free?

This is truly a ticket money can’t buy. After experiencing the Fandom party for the first time, I quickly understood why. The atmosphere they’ve created is fun and enjoyable with lots of space and room to breathe. I mean, no one likes an overcrowded party, right? This open-ness was a breathe of fresh air, seeing how we were soon to be packed like sardines on the exhibit floor all weekend.

I'm a big movie buff that also loves NFL football. Interviewing talent associated with films is one of my favorite things to do as there is nothing more special then diving into a project with the people who made them happen.
