Good news: the cast of Harry Potter will gather for a reunion special on HBO Max. Bad news: J.K Rowling will not be present. Seems rather odd, seeing how she’s the best-selling author who brought these characters to life. However, with the event happening on January 1st, 2022, we still have some time for her to change her mind.
No word on why she isn’t appearing, some suggesting it’s because of the backlash she received for comments that were seen as transphobic. This would make sense as it could potentially overshadow the reunion itself.
The reunion will be titled Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts and, for the first time, will feature cast members from all 8 films. Superfans worldwide have been taking to social media to express their excitement for Daniel Radcliff, Emma Roberts, and Rupert Grint to be on screen together again. The trio has since gone on to lead amazingly successful careers that include broadway plays, tv shows, and movies of all genres.
More details are sure to emerge as we get closer to the New Year’s release date.

I'm a big movie buff that also loves NFL football. Interviewing talent associated with films is one of my favorite things to do as there is nothing more special then diving into a project with the people who made them happen.
