A few weeks ago, I got to chat with the cast and team behind AMC’s upcoming show, 61st Street, at SXSW in Austin. What started off as a typical junket interview turned into a conversation that was much more meaningful. These types of raw and genuine talks surrounding topics like race, family, and police don’t often happen on press tours. In this case, these very themes are at the center of the new series. Check out my interview below to hear what Emmy-award-winning actor Courtney B. Vance and writer and BAFTA-winner Peter Moffat had to say on these topics and how they relate to 61st Street. While you’re there, subscribe to our YouTube channel as well!
Series premires April 10th on AMC and AMC+.

I'm a big movie buff that also loves NFL football. Interviewing talent associated with films is one of my favorite things to do as there is nothing more special then diving into a project with the people who made them happen.
