Super Bowl Commercials Debut Before Kickoff

The Super Bowl wouldn’t be the same without those thrilling brand commercials.

As NFL fans gear up for Super Bowl LIX to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play against the Philadelphia Eagles with the Kendrick Lamar halftime show, companies are starting to roll out their game day ad campaigns. Usually these ads would be playing during the big game but there have already been a few commercials that are now available to watch before the event.

From Apple TV+ to Google Pixel, here are some ads available to watch right now.

Stella Artois | David & Dave: The Other David

Soccer legend, David Beckham finds out that he has a twin brother named Dave Beckham. Dave Beckham is played by Matt Damon. While they both don’t have “much” in common, they both love to drink Stella Artois.

Uber Eats | A Century of Cravings

Matthew McConaughey explains and investigates the origins of football. He explains that football was invented to sell food. Celebrity cameos include Greta Gerwig, Charli XCX, Martha Stewart, Kevin Bacon and YouTuber Sean Evans.

Little Caesars

Eugene Levy’s eyebrows fly off of his face and venture around after trying Little Caesar’s Crazy Puffs for the first time. According to the description of the ad on YouTube, “No eyebrows were harmed in the making of this Crazy Puffs commercial.”

Apple TV+ | Duhpocalypse Movie

The popular streaming service is promoting a new project for an upcoming project. Famous faces included in this are Kathryn Hahn, Seth Rogan and Johnny Knoxville. Fair warning: It is a bit gross.

Coors Light: Slow Monday

A relatable commercial that involves adorable sloths moving super slow the day after the big game. This is a representation of that post-game sluggishness many people will feel on Monday. 

Google Pixel | Dream Job

This commercial is an ad for the Pixel 9 and it features Google’s Gemini AI that helps a dad prepare to land his dream job. The conversation he has with the AI tugs at the heartstrings where visuals of him taking care of his daughter from the moment she was born to the moment he drops her off at college.

Disney+ | “What If”

This 60-second ad ponders the question of what life would be like if certain moments never happened. What if Bart never did Seymour Butts? What if murders didn’t happen in that building? This ad will become shorter during the big game but you can check this longer cut on YouTube.

Taco Bell

This teaser for Taco Bell’s big game ad, Doja Cat photobombs some customers as they go through the “drive-thru cams.” At the end of this commercial, it tells viewers that the final version will include people who took photos at one of the chain’s drive-thru cam pop-ups.

Ram Trucks

Glen Powell stars in this Dodge Ram commercial where he is the main character of a popular children’s story: Goldilocks and the Three Bears. He plays as Goldilocks and with the help of a Ram truck, he gets to do everything except getting caught up with some trouble.

Ray-Ban | Meta

In this 30-second ad, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt get into some trouble while using Ray-Ban’s AI-powered glasses. Kris Jenner also has a cameo in this commercial as well.

Häagen-Dazs | “Not So Fast, Not So Furious”

Stars of the popular film franchise Fast and Furious, make their return for this ice cream brand. Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and Vin Diesel go from speeding down the highway to switching things up for a “slower life.”

Many of the brand ads that are now out are usually short teasers and as we get closer to the popular sporting event, more commercials are bound to be released. Super Bowl LIX is on Sunday, February 9. The game will kick off at 6:30 p.m ET in New Orleans at the Caesars Superdome. Fans can watch the game live on Fox or stream it through Fubo, Tubi, DirecTV Stream, Sling TV, YouTube TV and Hulu with Live TV.
