We Live In Time (Max)
This moving film starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh follows the relationship of a couple over a course of a decade. The film has received positive reviews. Rotten Tomatoes called it “a powerful melodrama that uses its nonlinear structure to thoughtfully explore grief.” If you’re looking for a film to make you feel all sorts of emotions, this one’s for you. Crazy Rich Asians (Max)
Based on the 2013 novel of the same title by Kevin Kwan, Crazy Rich Asians tells the tale of a Chinese-American professor who travels to Singapore with her boyfriend where she is shocked to discover that her boyfriend’s family is one of the richest families in Singapore. The film is filled with big name stars, such as Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Lisa Lu, Awkwafina, Ken Jeong and Michelle Yeoh. Life Itself (Prime Video)
The psychological drama film follows multiple couples over numerous generations and their connections to a single event. This film first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was theatrically released later in the United States by Amazon Studios. Starring Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Mandy Patinkin, Olivia Cooke, Laia Costa, Annette Bening and Antonio Banderas. A young woman with a bubbly personality is hired to be a caretaker to a recently paralyzed man. As she tries to convince him that there is more to life post-accident, they both begin to fall more in love in the romantic drama.
