Netflix’s TUDUM 2025 Recap: All the Big Reveals from the Live Event

Netflix’s biggest celebration, TUDUM, took over the Kia Forum in Los Angeles with an evening of amazing performances and a lineup of incredible talent. Fans were able to experience the event either live in-person or by watching it on the streaming platform site. Hosted by Sofia Carson (Carry-On), the Netflix event showcased a list of new and returning projects, including Stranger Things, Squid Game, One Piece and many more. Here are some of the highlights from the big event.

Live Performances from Lady Gaga and Hanumankind

Hanumankind, best known for his viral hit The Game Don’t Stop, took the stage at the beginning of the event, with the pink guards from Squid Game. While Hanumankind introduced Squid Game, Lady Gaga set the stage for the global phenomenon, Wednesday. She performed her hits, Zombieboy, Bloody Mary and Abracadabra.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery Trailer Reveal

Benoit Blanc is once again back on the case. Director Rian Johnson takes the stage with the cast which included Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Cailee Spaeny, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Daryl McCormack, Glenn Close (via video) and Daniel Craig. Fans got an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming third installment in the Knives Out saga.

Happy Gilmore Returns with a Stunning Cast

Happy Gilmore 2 cast hit the stage with a live Q&A with some surprise appearances from Blake Clark, Jon Lovitz, Ethan Cutkosky, Kym Whitley, Conor Sherry and Lavell Crawford. It’s been almost 30 years since we last saw Happy Gilmore grace our screens and fans are equally excited to see the new and returning cast in making their comeback.

Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein is Dark and Mysterious

The highly anticipated Frankenstein adaptation hit the Kia forum stage with Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth and Guillermo del Toro himself. According to Del Toro, he has been dreaming of Mary Shelley’s classic monster since he first read about it as a child and now, decades later, he was finally able to adapt the novel.The director with Isaac and Goth, were able to showcase the teaser trailer of the new film adaptation. The world that Del Toro showcases is mysterious with a hint of darkness in which all fans of the Academy Award winning director, can pinpoint.

Wednesday Season 2: The First 6 Minutes Revealed

The first six minutes of the Season 2’s premiere episode, Here We Woe Again, was showcased at the live event. The episode shows Wednesday pursuing a childhood obsession: Catching the Kansas City Scalper. She eventually does find the culprit but ends up in a small predicament. She’s tied up in the basement of the scalper, surrounded by creepy dolls. It looks like Wednesday Addams had an eventful (or not so eventful) summer in her hands.

Squid Game Season 3: Welcomes Back Viewers to Higher Stakes

The series’ third and final season is coming back and it will feature familiar foes, new games and higher stakes. According to series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk, the new season will “focus on what Gi-hun can and will do after all his efforts fail.” After the shocking season 2 finale, many fans have been questioning what may happen in the final season. Lee Byung-hun, who plays Front Man, has said that fans will not be disappointed in this season. With the new trailer that just dropped, it looks like the games will be much more difficult and bloodier.

One Piece stars Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Jacob Romero, Emily Rudd and Taz Skylar took over the stage to talk about what’s to come in the upcoming season for the anticipated live-action series. One of the biggest reveals is a first look at the latest character, Tony Tony Chopper. Chopper is voiced by Mikaela Hoover who also performed facial capture for the adorable character. The Rip teams up Matt Damon and Ben Affleck

The celebrity duo are set to team up for the upcoming crime thriller film, The Rip. The film’s synopsis is as follows: “Upon discovering millions in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question – including who they can rely on.” Besides Damon and Affleck, the cast also includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino, Sasha Calle, Néstor Carbonell, Lina Esco, Scott Adkins and Kyle Chandler.

Stranger Things 5 Three Volume Release Dates Revealed

One of the biggest and most anticipated reveals of the night was none other than Stranger Things Season 5. The last time we saw the gang was in 2022 and fans have been waiting for any sort of clues of when we will travel once again to Hawkins, Indiana.Fans don’t need to wait any longer as TUDUM with the help of Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp revealed a sneak peek of the upcoming season, including a three volume release dates. The official synopsis for the final season is as follows: “The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding.
