Award season is in full swing, and the Oscars, arguably the biggest night of them all, is almost here. The nominations for the 2026 Academy Awards have been announced, and there are quite a lot of surprises, but mostly a lot of excitement! ‘Sinners‘ breaks the record for most nominations for any film, previously held but 1950s All About Eve, Titanic, and La La Land, all scoring 14 noms. Conan O’Brien is set to return as host this year, a role he’s done a solid job of, so it makes sense that he’d be invited back to knock it out again.
