Disney brings Hulu Animayhem and the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Experience activations back to San Diego Comic-Con!
Disney Entertainment Television (DET) is once again bringing two of the most talked-about off-site experiences to San Diego Comic-Con, with the return of Hulu Animayhem and Disney’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians activation.
Hulu Animayhem: The Fandom Fuel Up

Hulu, the go-to streaming destination for adult animation, is bringing back its beloved Animayhem activation for another year at SDCC. This time it’s spotlighting Futurama and King of the Hill under the banner Hulu Animayhem: Fandom Fuel Up. Set up at Palm Trees Garden in the Gaslamp Quarter, the fan-first experience brings Planet Express back to Comic-Con alongside a new venture from Bobby Hill: Robata Chane.
Attendees can fuel up on themed food and drink, including Fry’s 100 Days of Cold Brew and Robata Chane-inspired yakitori, while wandering through immersive environments built around both shows. Fans should keep an eye out for hidden Easter eggs tucked throughout the space, along with plenty of photo-worthy moments inspired by fan-favorite storylines from each series. On-site goodies will also be available for guests looking to take a piece of the experience home.

Percy Jackson and his fellow demigods are touching back down in San Diego, with an activation stationed at the corner of 5th and L Street, right at the main entrance to the Gaslamp Quarter. This year’s experience invites guests to step inside a titan-sized trident for a choose-your-own-adventure journey alongside Percy, Annabeth, or Thalia as they set out to defeat the evil Titans.
Along the way, fans can expect hidden Season 3 Easter eggs, prophecy-led clues teasing what’s ahead, on-site photo opportunities, and exclusive Camp Half-Blood goodies to collect.
The Percy Jackson Experience will be open:
- Thursday, July 23 – 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday, July 24 – 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday, July 25 – 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Sunday, July 26 – 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Both activations have become staples of the SDCC off-site circuit, and this year’s lineup looks to raise the bar with deeper storytelling ties, exclusive season previews, and no shortage of shareable moments. Fans headed to the convention will want to carve out time for both events in the Gaslamp Quarter.
